Jim Richardson's
"From my Audio and Video clip archives"

Jim's radio interviews:
"Comedy in Business" Parts 1 and 2

Part 1 aired on March 26, 2012, and was my first time on Israel National Radio for "Goldstein on Gelt":
Part 2 aired May 14, 2012, and a link to it was be posted on youtube.com June 3, 2012 as "A Guide to Great Comedy":
In Part 1 of the two-part interview, I refer to:

a) Free tutorial How to Write a Joke.

b) I also make quick references, comparing the 1960, 2008 and 2012 Presidential election candidate's mastery of basic comedy techniques:

Said contender's comedic skill is symbolically represented by the relative size of their Time Magazine cover photo.

(To see images of Time Magazine at full size so you can read the cover text, right click and select "View Image."
Then, to return here, just click your browser's Back Button.)

c) I contrast these 5 politicians with Richard Boone's heroic character Paladin in the top-ten TV series "Have Gun - Will Travel" (1957-1963):
HGWT is now available on DVD which you can rent through Netflix (and other online services) to view the episodes I cite in my August 12, 2009 "Coach Says" article:
These half-hour shows stand the test of time as excellent examples for comedy techniques and wit during the JFK era.
For a more in-depth article which explains how this is related to stand-up comedy, keynote speaking and business management styles, you can access "Coach Says," Vol. 1, issue ii, August 12, 2009.

d) In the March 26, 2012 interview, I give my predictions for the 2012 election that serve as updates to my 2009 "Coach Says" articles:
   i) Unlike the current issue of "Coach Says" which works automatically with the Flash Player that is on 98% of computers, you must open this 2009 issue only in Adobe Reader to both access the document's navigation buttons and play the audio files:

ii) Audio workaround needed for Adobe Reader 9 and later:
